Kanagawa Morning Art Print

Memories from my trip to Japan 2024 ♡ I only visited Hakone (in the Kanagawa Prefecture) for one evening, but it ended up being one of my favourite stops of my trip. Away from the noise and crowds, I felt the most relaxed here and able to freely explore and my own pace. With most of my trip having a tight schedule and planned out day to day, I was the most spontaneous in Hakone, visiting museums and exhibits as I found them.

The photo reference for this design was taken outside of the Pola Museum of Art, a place I found by chance. The museum features works from Monet, Van Gogh, and Matisse, intentionally built within and sloping with a large forest of trees to symbolize a ‘harmony between art and nature’. It also features a gorgeous nature trail surrounding the museum which I loved getting lost in for an hour or two.

- 'Gloss' printed on ultra premium luster 240 GSM photo paper
- Printed and cut in-studio using high quality archival inks and ink-jet printer
- Signed and numbered in pencil for matte, ink for gloss
